Provenance

Crassula perforata originates from the southern and eastern regions of South Africa, extending from the Cape Province north to KwaZulu-Natal. Natural habitats include dry rocky outcrops, cliff crevices, and exposed high-altitude slopes where soil is lean and sharply draining.

Care Guide

Light: Provide 5 to 6 hours of bright, direct, or filtered sunlight daily to maintain intense leaf coloration.

Water: Water thoroughly only when the soil is completely dry. Reduce water during summer dormancy and winter.

Soil: Use a fast-draining cactus and succulent mix amended with pumice or perlite.

Temperature: Protect from hard frosts; keep above 25°F–30°F.
