Monkey Tail Cactus – Cleistocactus colademononis

Introduce a touch of whimsical, modern artistry to your home with the highly coveted Monkey Tail Cactus (Cleistocactus colademononis). Renowned as one of the most unique houseplants in existence, this Bolivian cliff-dwelling native features long, cascading stems wrapped in a dense coat of soft, brilliant-white, hair-like spines — creating the unmistakable illusion of furry monkey tails draping over your planters.

As a spectacular bonus, this free-flowering cactus produces massive, neon-red tubular flowers that erupt all along the stems throughout spring and summer. Perfect for elevated shelves, sunny window frames, or covered patio areas where its dramatic tails can gracefully plunge downward.

• Fuzzy, Pet-Safe Stems: Soft, striking white texture that is non-toxic to curious cats and dogs.
• Show-Stopping Cascades: Thick stems trail 3–5+ feet over time — an instant conversation piece.
• Prolific Red Blooms: Waves of fiery red trumpet flowers all season long.
• Incredibly Low-Maintenance: Thrives on bright light, minimal watering, and general neglect.
