About the Plant
The Maipu x MT01 is a cross between the "Maipu" clone (a robust variety from the Chilean Andes) and "MT01" (a select phenotype of T. Pachanoi origin that was imported from Manuel Terra). He reportedly found it on the side of the road in Cajabamba from fallen columns
  • Aesthetics: It is known for its elegant, deep emerald-green skin and symmetrical, rounded ribs. It features small areoles with short, honey-colored spines, giving it a relatively "smooth" and refined appearance.
  • Growth Habit: This is a vigorous, fast-growing columnar cactus that favors height and verticality. It is an excellent choice for a "living pillar" in modern landscape designs.
