Agave nizandensis (Nizanda Agave) is a small, slow-growing, and nearly spineless succulent that forms 1–2 ft wide rosettes, characterized by narrow, mid-green, recurved leaves with a pale central stripe. Native to Mexico, it flourishes in well-drained, sunny to bright-shaded locations, thriving in containers or as a ground cover in frost-free climates (USDA zones 10a-10b).

- Appearance: Forms open clusters with leaves that are 6–12 inches long, flat/slightly concave on top, and convex below. In high light, leaves may turn dark purple to nearly black.
